Dear Food Network,

In response to the statement on your website that you value our opinions and want to hear from us (the viewers) to make our viewing experience more enjoyable; I write this letter. I am a loyal fan, I watch your channel more than any other and my DVR is full of episodes so they are just a click away. I use your website often.

From a concerned viewer, I think that you need to cancel Sandra Lee's show. She just does not make good television.
Example here:

Anyone that can call corn nuts "acorns" and adorn a Kwanzaa cake with them is a little "nuts" herself. Let alone the fact that lighting those over-sized tapers could prove to be a fire hazard. Entertaining...just not in a good way. Plus, I do not know anyone that has the time and/or money to change their window treatments to match their outfit. The majority of her food is something that I do not even want to taste, let alone spend time making.

I have a better idea for a fresh, new show. It's called "The Farmer's Daughter". Here is your host. She is beautiful and hilarious. Definitely a more modern approach. She could even get advice occasionally from her father (the farmer), who knows almost as much about food as Alton; he is just not quite as annoying. I even know a fantastic producer, I happen to be married to him. I would be happy to send you examples of his work.

Please feel free to contact me for further information as we have planned the whole thing, right down to the set design.

Thank you.

I couldn't agree with you more Nik! Sandra drives me crazy! Nothing she makes seems that great and most of what she does ANYONE with a brain in their head can do! I also believe the word "table-scape" should be done away with and NEVER used again! Just my thoughts.

OH TABLESCAPE!!! She drives me batty and I am sure the only reason that she is still on the air is because a whole lot of men watch her show...enough said.
I have seen her show a few times and was shocked at some of the recipes. I about died when she made a TACO CHEESECAKE with smashed Doritos as the crust. I am not kidding.
Bring on the Farmers Daughter!
