Christmas Chaos

How do you settle back into the mundane routines of home after two weeks of fun? Cole is still trying to get adjusted to just having me for entertainment. We had a great holiday.Who knew that you can have a white Christmas in St George? The perfect solution to the cold was turning the pool into a 103 degree hot tub.In between games of pickleball -Dad's new obsession (here's Mathis in action), we found a little time for other activities. We found time to go shopping, saw a couple of movies, the boys played golf, we went swimming and ate a lot! There were little adventures every day.

We even hiked in Zion's. Although every person we passed made a comment to us that we would not be able to take a stroller in the snow-we showed them! Since pickleball was occasionally a twice-daily ritual, we took the kids to the park and had a great time.Cole loved the swings and just enjoyed being outside. We can't frequent the park here as it is covered in snow.

We missed Brian the majority of the time, but he was off supporting his Utes. He was excited about his presents. Not many people get thrilled at the idea of a generator and a camp stove, but that's Brian for you! Can't you tell, this is his "excited" face.

After the service projects, going to the temple, the Nativity with a twist, and lots of In-N-Out...in the end my favorite part was just being together.
